Welcome to the 1st tea ceremony in Greece! Tea ceremony is a special action, which helps to balance our body and soul, and clear our mind. It is what we can truly call a “unique experience.” You can try traditional Greek herbal tea or classical Chinese tea (Gongfu Cha or Pin Cha). Tea degustation is also possible. About the 1st Tea Ceremony in Greece
Hello! I'm Exinya. My occupation (MD) and my passion for travelling led me to such rare and very interesting profession as a tea master. Definitely, my travel about China inspired me. There I studied the authentic Chinese tea ceremony and I'm the first to introduce tea ceremony in Greece (in April 2018 I made a report on the importance of the tea culture in Greece at the 1st Business Women Without Borders Forum organized by Club for UNESCO of Piraeus and Islands). Chinese people drink tea not because they are thirsty, but when they want to have a nice conversation with friends or colleagues. Tea ceremony is a special tea action, which helps to balance our body and soul, and clear our mind. The tea of high quality is rich in vitamins and microelements. For example, green and white teas have 70 times more antioxidants than apples! Greece is a well-known coffee nation, but everybody who visited my tea ceremony so far, enjoyed it a lot. It is what we can truly call a “unique experience.” Welcome to the first in Greece Chinese tea ceremony!

Tea Ceremony
We will have an authentic tea ceremony at my place. The ceremony is performed for 1 to 6 persons (ideally, for 2-4). We will begin with the selection of the tea. It can be a traditional Greek herbal tea or a classical Chinese tea. Tea degustation is also possible. You will be offered a variety of premium quality organic teas from Greece (from Mt. Olympus, Mt. Pilion, the island of Evia, salvia, thyme, etc.) and China (white, yellow, green, red, oolong and pu-erh). Then we will get acquainted with the fundamentals of the tea ceremony (Pin Cha or Gongfu Cha) and learn how to use the equipment necessary for the "tea action". Then we will drink tea within the repeated procedure of steeping. Some teas can be steeped many times and we will observe changes in the color, taste and aroma from steep to steep. Tea ceremony is ideal for a good conversation, friendly or business meetings. Tea clears the mind and brings relaxation and rejuvination. The whole action will take from 1 to 2 hours depending on the tea type.
